2017-2018 First Grade Field Trips:
Field trips give students educational experiences away from their regular school environment and allow for hands-on and interactive learning. Students spend time in a different learning environment and can complete a lesson on the topic covered after the trip is over. Studies have shown students retain a great deal of factual information from tours and trips. Learning in assorted ways can appeal to varied learning styles, helping children to succeed whether they are visual, auditory or kinetic learners. We carefully select trips to enhance the 1st grade curriculum and excite a love of learning in your child.
